Attorneys Perkins and Reynolds are available to come to your site and present free, one-hour discussions on various legal issues. The information is presented in casual, easy-to-understand language. Time is allotted for questions and answers, too. Described below are two of the most-requested presentations.
Civic and Constitutional Rights and Responsibilities of Teenagers and Young Adults Mark and Kathleen will address the various legal and constitutional issues that effect teenagers and young adults including laws related to sex, drugs, and alcohol. Also addressed will be issues effecting young adults who enter into contracts (residential, financial, etc.). This presentation is appropriate for those who have teenagers in high school and/or young adults facing their first or subsequent years in college. Consider bringing your kids, too (they'll hear your messages from another source, often an effective way of getting them to listen).
To Will or Not To Will? What a Great Question! Mark and Kathleen will address the importance of having a will, and the basic elements of what makes a will legitimate in the eyes of the court. This presentation is appropriate for those who do or do not have a will (e.g., have been putting writing one off), have children or elderly parents, or who are an executor or administrator of an estate.
